What if my Tiny Striker needs help?
Our program relies on parent participation to support our youngest Tiny Strikers - we welcome your presence on the field alongside your child.
What if my Tiny Striker won't play?
That's completely okay — and more common than you might think! Every child develops at their own pace, and it's totally normal for a preschooler to be excited one week and want to stay on the sideline the next. What feels fun and familiar on Tuesday might feel a little scary or overwhelming on Saturday — and that's just part of how young kids process new experiences.
We never force a child to participate. If your little one isn't feeling it that day, here's what we suggest:
Stay close and stay calm. Sit with them near the field so they can still watch and take it all in.
Let them warm up on their own timeline. Sometimes kids just need a few minutes — or even a few sessions — before they feel ready to jump in.
Follow their lead. If they want to join mid-session, great! If not, that's okay too. Just being around the environment is still valuable.
Avoid pressure, but keep it positive. A simple "it looks like so much fun — maybe next time!" goes a long way.
Most kids come around with patience and consistency. Our coaches are experienced with hesitant little ones and are happy to gently encourage participation without ever making a child feel pushed. If you have ongoing concerns, don't hesitate to chat with your coach — we're all in this together!
How will I receive updates and announcements?

How are coaches trained or screened?
